Here’s the place where you can learn more history about Ed and his family. Check
back often as more will be added as we go through the archives. (We’ve got a lot
to post, the family archives are large.)
You probably did not realize that the Ed’s dad and uncles, the Justice Brothers,
were the first sponsors in NASCAR. They also were responsible for the first 'racing'
uniforms in NASCAR.
With a firm foundation in the open wheel world, they quickly established important
friendships after they relocated to the Southern part of the United States. Friendships
with Red Vogt, Smokey Yunick, the Flock Brothers (pictured at left), Lee Petty and
Bill France to name a few, put them in the right place at the right time. Bill France
was actually one of the Justice Brothers customers before he started NASCAR.
Indy has played a very big role in the motorsports history of the Justice family.
From their first involvement in 1946, winning in 1950 to over 65 years of involvement,
the Justice family hold the longest participation record of any sponsor ever to
visit this special place. VIEW GALLERY HERE
